StatysisPrivacy Policy
Statysis ("we", "us") is a sports fantasy stats and analysis app for iPhone, operated by an individual developer based in Minnesota, USA (the "Statysis developer"). This policy explains what information the app and its server handle. In short: there are no accounts, no ads, no analytics or tracking tools, and we never sell your information.
Information we handle
- A random app identifier. When you first open the app, it creates a random ID on your phone. The app sends it with each request, and it links your requests and your purchase status so our server can check whether you have Premium. It does not contain your name, email or Apple ID.
- Purchases. Subscriptions and the season pass are sold and billed by Apple. We use RevenueCat to confirm purchases; it receives your anonymous app ID and purchase records from Apple (product, dates, status). We never see your payment card or Apple account details.
- Technical request data. Like any website or app server, ours receives your IP address and the data you request. We use it only to deliver the data, limit abuse (rate limiting) and fix problems.
- Settings. Favorites and your preferences are stored on your phone. Selected settings, such as your scoring format, are sent with a request when needed to return the results you asked for; they are not stored with your identifier.
- Support emails. If you email us, we receive your email address and whatever you choose to include, and use it only to answer you.
The app does not collect your name, contacts, location, photos, health data or any information from other apps.
How we use it
Only to run the app: deliver stats and analysis, unlock Premium for paying users, keep the service secure and fix problems. We do not use it for advertising or profiling, and we do not track you across other apps or websites.
Service providers
We share information only with providers that help run the app, and only what they need:
- Apple - App Store, payments and app delivery.
- RevenueCat - purchase verification (anonymous app ID and purchase records).
- OVHcloud - hosts our server.
- Cloudflare - domain name service.
- Expo - delivers app updates to your phone (receives standard request data such as IP address).
Sports data shown in the app comes from third-party data providers; no information about you is sent to them. We may also disclose information if required by law.
Retention and deletion
- Server logs (including IP addresses) are deleted automatically after 14 days.
- Support emails are kept only as long as needed to help you and handle any follow-up.
- Purchase records are kept by RevenueCat as long as needed for billing, accounting and legal reasons; some records may have to be kept even after a deletion request. Apple keeps and controls its own purchase records under its own privacy policy.
- On your phone: deleting the app removes your settings, favorites and app identifier from the phone. It does not delete records held by our providers, and it does not cancel a subscription.
To ask us to delete records tied to your purchases, email us with the App ID shown at the bottom of the app's upgrade screen, so we can find them.
Children
Statysis is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from them.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct or delete information about you. Contact us and we will help.
Changes
If we change this policy, we will update the date above and, for significant changes, tell you in the app.
